Public Works is dedicated to the quality of life of the citizens of Washougal. From our wonderfully kept and spacious parks, the treatment of sanitary waste, water quality, to transportation. It is our mission to provide a level of service and quality of life that the citizens of the City of Washougal can appreciate.

![]() | Facilities/Maintenance Our facility maintenance department schedules and performs maintenance and cleaning of City of Washougal buildings, grounds and outbuildings. The facility maintenance crew regularly tests fire extinguishers, alarms and building systems to maintain compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations. |
![]() | Parks The city of Washougal is dedicated to providing green places for it's citizens. That's why we have 12 parks in the area, each with it's own unique features and characteristics. |
![]() | Cemetery The Washougal Memorial Cemetery encapsulates an area of approximately 12 acres. When fully utilized the Cemetery will contain nearly 8000 full burial locations. Niches child, infant, and cremain lots are also available within the Cemetery. |
![]() | Stormwater The City of Washougal lies within the Columbia Basin Watershed. A watershed is the region draining into a river, river system, or other body of water. In this case, the receiving waters are the Columbia River. Most of the water that we use and discharge, if not directly infiltrated into the ground, will flow into the Columbia River. |
![]() | Fleet Management Our fleet management department schedules and performs regular maintenance on all city vehicles and equipment, maintains fueling logs and ensures compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations regarding disposal of on-site hazardous wastes. |
