Our facility maintenance department schedules and performs maintenance and cleaning of City of Washougal buildings, grounds and outbuildings. The facility maintenance crew regularly tests fire extinguishers, alarms and building systems to maintain compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations.

Cemetery

The Washougal Memorial Cemetery encapsulates an area of approximately 12 acres. When fully utilized the Cemetery will contain nearly 8000 full burial locations. Niches child, infant, and cremain lots are also available within the Cemetery.

The City of Washougal lies within the Columbia Basin Watershed. A watershed is the region draining into a river, river system, or other body of water. In this case, the receiving waters are the Columbia River. Most of the water that we use and discharge, if not directly infiltrated into the ground, will flow into the Columbia River.
